Weekday Morning Dial-A-Bus
6:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

Early Morning Dial A Bus service makes three trips, on request, to our downtown service area.  The first stop is always BART and arrival times are no earlier than 6:15, 7:00 and 8:00 am.  This service will also connect with the public bus that departs the Safeway shopping center at 33 minutes past each hour.  The Dial A Bus also goes to the medical centers and other destinations in the valley.  You must call at least 60 minutes prior to your desired pick-up time and before 8:00 am.  (Driver takes calls between 5:45 and 6:00 am for first trip to downtown.)

Note: Paratransit riders are combined with regular riders during Dial A Bus service.   Paratransit riders call the weekday before for weekday service and same day for Saturday and Sunday Service.

Weekday Evening Dial-A-Bus
6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

The evening driver starts taking calls at 5:30 pm.  Riders must call at least to 60 minutes in advance, with service requests.  Weekday evenings, the bus makes trips to our downtown service area at 7:00, 8:30 and 9:45 pm, on request.

Weekday Evening Shuttles
5:00, 5:30 & 6:15 pm

Depart shopping center bus stop without a call at:  5:00, 5:30 and 6:15 pm.

Note: Downtown service area is bordered by the BART station on Ygnacio Valley Rd., Newell Avenue, South Broadway and California. Stops include the Regional Center for the Arts, Broadway Plaza, Kaiser Hospital and the BART station, and much more.  Drivers only stop where it has been approved to be a safe location.  When requesting return trip ride from BART, give driver/dispatcher the time you will arrive.

Saturday and Sunday Dial-A-Bus
8:30 a.m. to 9:15 p.m

Call 988-7676 to make pick up requests at least one hour in advance.  Trips to the downtown Walnut Creek service area are made at 9:30, 11:30 am, 1:30, 3:30, 5:00, 7:00 and 9:00 pm.  The Rossmoor bus will stop at the public bus stops.  The only parking lots that buses enter are at Target and the downtown CVS/Marie Callender’s and Whole Foods.

Riders going to 11:00 am Sunday church services, in the Rossmoor valley, or going to the Rossmoor shopping center from 10:00 – 11:00 am, do not need to call for a bus.  (Paratransit riders need to call one hour in advance as buses cannot board using the lift if a wheelchair is already on the bus.  Dispatcher will send a different bus to accommodate that rider).
