The Dollar Ranch course designed by Robert Muir Graves is 18 holes of 72-par golf with moderate elevation changes. The course has four sets of NCGA rated tees. The back tees at 6,162 yards has a course rating is 69.3 with a slope of 127. The forward tees are rated at 62.9 with a slope of 108 over a comfortable 4,704 yards..
The Creekside nine-hole course par 36 stays in the floor of the valley and is comfortably walk able at 2,997 yards from the back tees with a NCGA rating of 68.4 and a slope of 121. The most forward tees are rated 65.0 with a 105 slope over 2,211 yards. Tice Creek meanders through both courses but is most in play on the namesake Creekside Course.
Practice facilities include a 10-station driving range, three practice greens, a pitch and sand shot area. Resident and guest green fees are moderate. Guests must be accompanied by a resident for morning tee times. Residents can make a tee time for their guests to play unaccompanied in the afternoons. Weekend and weekday tee times can be made seven days in advance. Tee times must be reserved by the Rossmoor Resident.
The new full-service Pro Shop includes golf cart and club rental services to meet resident and guest needs. A full-service restaurant and bar are available as well as nearby meeting rooms and picnic areas are available by reservation to provide a convenient setting for after game analysis and entertainment for your golf event.
Over 1,000 Rossmoor residents, both men and women, belong to the four organized Rossmoor Golf Clubs with regular year-round and seasonal tournaments for whatever your level of skill and dedication. Information on the clubs is available from the Pro Shop staff and the Recreation Department.
The Rossmoor Golf Course is open Tuesday through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tee times can be made by residents in person or by phone at (925) 988-7861. All players must check in with the Pro Shop prior to play. The courses are closed on Mondays except for holidays and when special tournaments are scheduled for the Dollar Course as indicated on the Tournament Schedule page. Residents are welcome to walk the courses on days when the course is closed to golfers.
