At the Rossmoor Fitness Center we offer a wide range of programming services for all fitness levels and abilities (including special needs), and we offer an exceptional team of trainers. There are 100+ classes per week in the Aerobics and Shasta rooms, and the pools. These classes include aquatics, aerobic dance, Hula dance, balance training, brain exercise, circuit training, Pilates mat, and various Yoga styles. Independent contractors and clubs teach 69 of these classes and staff teaches 41 of these classes. Schedules are available at the fitness center.
The fitness staff is comprised of certified fitness professionals with varied skills and disciplines who provide exercise programs for better function and quality of life. The fitness staff is extremely well educated and capable of handling a diverse plethora of issues that may plague your physical being. Let them guide you and learn how EXERCISE IS MEDICINE.

PERSONAL TRAINING –
• _ONE-ON-ONE: $60/HOUR OR $35/HALF-HOUR

SUNDAY SPEAKER SERIES: every third Sunday of the month is a free presentation by a special speaker
on a health fitness related topic

Exercising in the water has many benefits — the biggest advantage is that it is low-impact exercise. Water provides resistance to movement yet cushions the impact of moving on your joints, especially your feet and spine.

Yoga focuses on improving flexibility, range of movement, breathing, body sense and mental tranquility. Most instructors take standard practices and individualize the work so find an instructor that fits your needs and personality.
