Tuesday, April 9 (1:00 p.m.): A candidates’ forum for the GRF Board of Directors will be held on Wednesday, April 10, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Peacock Hall. The six candidates running for the GRF Board of Directors have been invited to participate.

The candidates include Melanie Rose, Diana St. James and Roy Yang in District A, which will have candidate statements and ballots mailed to its members on Friday, April 12. The other three candidates are incumbents Ted Bentley in District C, Leanne Hamaji in District D and Cheryl Hines in District F, who are all running unopposed and will be elected by acclamation.

Residents are encouraged to submit their questions for the candidates by emailing news@rossmoor.com or dropping them at the Rossmoor News office (1006 Stanley Dollar Drive) before 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 4.

Director of Communications Ann Peterson, who will moderate the forum, will ask these questions of all the candidates during the forum. Each candidate will have 90 seconds to answer.

The forum will last for 90 minutes and will be recorded by Rossmoor Television to begin broadcasting on Thursday, April 11
