GRF seeks candidates and nominations for Board of Directors
District B, F and G residents can nominate candidates with petition

Elections will be held in GRF Districts B, F, and G in the spring of 2022. The following are the streets in each district and the name of the current GRF Board representative of the district up for election. Residents interested in running for the GRF Board this year must reside in these election districts.
District B is currently being represented by Carl Brown. He was elected to the Board in 2016 and is not eligible to run for reelection due to term limits. District B has 751 manors and includes Golden Rain Road Entries 16 through 29; Pine Knoll Drive Entry 9; and all of Skycrest Drive.
District F is currently represented by Kathleen Stumpfel. She was elected to the Board in 2019 and is eligible to run for reelection. District F has 748 manors and includes Avenida Sevilla buildings 1261 through 1297; Ptarmigan Drive Entries 6 through 20; and Terra Granada Drive Entries 1 through 8.
District G is currently represented by Dale Harrington. He was elected to the Board in 2019 and is eligible to run for reelection. District G has 734 manors and includes all of Autumnwood Drive; Avenida Sevilla Entry 1 and buildings 1209 through 1255; all of Horsemans Canyon Drive; and Terra Granada Drive Entries 9 through 25.

Residents who live in these districts and are interested in running for the GRF Board must submit their names by petition. Nominees to the Board must be members in good standing of the Golden Rain Foundation of Walnut Creek and reside in the election district.
Nominees must obtain a nominating petition and have it signed by members representing 10% of the voting membership in the election district in which the nominee resides. (See nominating petition below)
Address lists, nominating petitions and candidate guidelines for issuing and submitting petition paperwork may be obtained from Assistant Secretary Deborah Rose in the Administration Office at Gateway starting Feb. 9. Petitions must be accompanied by the candidate’s statement of 300 words or less, setting forth background and qualifications and views on the issues that are expected to be part of the election.
Candidates’ statements and ballots will be mailed to members in each election district on Friday, April 15, and must be returned by mail to the election inspection company by the close of business on Thursday, May 5.
The GRF Annual Meeting of Members will be held Monday, May 9, at 9:30 a.m., in Peacock Hall at Gateway Complex. The elected Board members will be seated at the organizational meeting following the annual meeting.
