Residents asked to fill out survey to help prioritize improvement projects

The Golden Rain Foundation has contracted with a team of consultants led by ELS Architecture and Urban Design to create a long-term capital improvement plan to help prioritize community facility and infrastructure improvement projects for the next 10 years.

The first steps in the process have involved gathering information from the residents of Rossmoor. To date, the consultant team has facilitated three focus groups and a community workshop to discuss various aspects of the project. They also have conducted research on the types of facilities provided at comparable active adult communities and emerging trends.

The next step is a survey intended to gather input from a much larger group of Rossmoor residents. The survey covers indoor and outdoor activities, as well as accessibility and infrastructure. It takes only a few minutes to complete. Each household member should fill out a separate survey.

Residents can fill out a hard copy of the survey in the June 30 newspaper and return it to the Recreation front desk at Gateway. Or they can fill it out online at www.surveymonkey.com/r/W8FPLPQ.
