Permitting issues have postponed the planned work on the pool roof at the Tice Creek Fitness Center.

The pools were set to close for the month of August so that the roof panels and motor could be replaced. Now the project is on hold indefinitely while awaiting permits from the city.

This also means that Dollar and Hillside pools will close at their regularly scheduled time of 8 p.m. weekdays, and the aquatics classes will remain at the Tice pools.

When the repair work at Tice is rescheduled, it will be announced in the Rossmoor News.
