Weekday Dial-a-Bus picks up residents in their entries for trips around Rossmoor, to the nearby shopping center and almost a dozen downtown stops, including BART and Trader Joe's. Limited holiday service also is available.
All buses are equipped with wheelchair lifts for riders requiring assistance.
There is no added cost on top of your monthly coupon payment for the service.

Recycling in Rossmoor
On-site recycling options and pickup services make it easy to keep Rossmoor clean and sustainable.
Staff-monitored Recycle Yard is open weekdays for grass cuttings, tree and shrub trimmings, wood products such as plywood and tree logs, and broken-down cardboard boxes.
Household battery disposal also is available at the Recycle Yard.
Scheduled pickups on Mondays of electronics and some used appliances can be arranged with Rapid Recycle for a fee.
Mattress and box spring haul away is also available for a fee.
Unwanted medication and sharps disposal collection boxes are located at Gateway.
