Event Center
The Event Center is Rossmoor's largest venue, featuring multiple event spaces, catering kitchen, dance floor, fully equipped stage and professional sound system for grand celebrations, community concerts, theatrical performances and major club events.
The Event Center is designed to bring our community together for memorable experiences.
Facilities & Spaces:

Tahoe Room
Main hall, sitting up to 400, with stage and dance floor; perfect for concerts and theatrical performances.

Donner Room
Medium event space that opens to the patio; ideal for club meetings, classes and mid-sized gatherings.

Echo Room
Intimate space featuring a cozy fireplace, one of two community rooms in Rossmoor

Gateway Clubhouse
The Gateway Complex is Rossmoor's hub of social activity, from the large clubhouse with a library, computer center and card room to its second largest event facility, movie theater and hobby studios, all surrounding an outdoor plaza. It's also home to the Recreation Department, Board offices and Counseling Services.

Fireside Room
Large room for 200 to 250 with full-service kitchen, grand piano and a double-sided fireplace; designed for parties and events

Peacock Hall
Movie theater with 155 fixed seats, showing everything from Oscar winners to classics; also a meeting and lecture space

Redwood Room
Community room with piano, small tables and chairs, ideal for reading, casual game playing and informal gatherings

Library
Resident-run Library with 9,000 books and DVDs available for residents to check out; new releases arriving all the time

Computer Center
Daily assistance with computers, printing, scanning, emailing and more from Rossmoor's Computer Club

Oak Room
Large card room with small tables, designed especially for bridge and other table games

Multipurpose Rooms
Three small meeting rooms, two with kitchens; perfect for small groups and classes

Billiards Room
Dedicated billiards room with one snooker and six 9-foot pool tables, perfect for tournaments, workshops and social play.

Peacock Plaza
Central outdoor plaza with patio tables and umbrellas, a good spot for a big party or casual lunch

Dollar Clubhouse
The former summer home of R. Stanley Dollar's family is on the National Register of Historic Places and a popular clubhouse for intimate gatherings. The home retains its historic charm with antiques and some original fixtures but features a full-service kitchen to cater events that make use of the indoor and outdoor spaces.

Main room with fixed antique furniture, central for gatherings and celebrations

Churchill Room
Downstairs room with vintage furniture, also part of the main event space

Eisenhower Room
Upstairs room with living room furniture, ideal for small gatherings

Card Rooms
Three small rooms with card tables, seating 12 to 20, set up for small groups and card games

Garden Room
Downstairs medium room with long table and chairs, designed for meetings and mid-size events

Dollar Library
Lending library based on the honor system, filled with books donated by residents

Dollar Patio
Patio in park-like setting with tables, chairs and umbrellas, perfect for outdoor events and part of the main event space

Dollar Solarium
Medium-size dining room that seats 48, includes charm of its historic roots

Chess Room
Wood-paneled room with chess tables and charm, designed for chess but also available for classes and meetings

Dollar Park
Tree-shaded park beside the historic clubhouse with tables, grills and an outdoor stage, used for picnics and events

Dollar Pool
Outdoor pool behind Dollar House, kept at 88 degrees; well-suited for comfortable swimming and socializing

Creekside Clubhouse
Located adjacent to our golf courses, Creekside Clubhouse is the social hub for golfers and diners alike. From a meeting room overlooking the practice greens to a full-service restaurant and well-appointed Golf Shop, Creekside Clubhouse brings together two of Rossmoor's top amenities -- golf and The Golden Pear.

Medium-sized meeting room overlooking the practice green, suitable for meetings and events

Club Room
Largest meeting room at Creekside, seating up to 100, ideal for lectures, meetings and small dinners.

Bunker Room
One of two small meeting rooms, this one overlooking the restaurant patio, designed for small meetings

Mulligan Room
Second of two small rooms, seating up to 24, ideal for small meetings or gatherings

The Golf Shop
Fully-appointed Golf Shop stocked with Rossmoor-logo apparel and golf merchandise, greater for golfer and gift givers

The Golden Pear
Rossmoor's full-service restaurant, serving lunch, dinner and weekend breakfast, for eating in or taking out

Hillside Clubhouse
One of the original clubhouses, Hillside sits in the picturesque northwest end of the valley, surrounded by trees, two picnic areas, the bocce ball courts, an outdoor pool and three lawn bowling greens. It's also home to the performing arts studio, meeting rooms, table tennis facility and bocce courts.

Diablo Room
Large, well-lit open hall with mini grand piano that seats up to 165, well-suited for meetings, dancing and more

Vista Room
Medium-size room with piano and full-service kitchen, equipped for meetings, small performances or celebrations

Performing Arts Studio
Performance venue with built-in risers, theatrical lighting and state-of-the-art lighting, designed for Rossmoor's many performing arts clubs

Lawn Bowling Greens
Three real grass lawn bowling greens for competitive play and nearby Mat House, serving Rossmoor's longstanding Lawn Bowling Club

Hillside Pool
Outdoor pool sitting above the clubhouse, popular with lap swimmers and home to Family Swim program

Shady Glen Park
Small picnic grounds tucked into grove of trees, perfect for small club or private gatherings

Sportsmen's Park
Large Park with picnic grounds and pavilion, gas grill and plenty of grass to spread out; ideal for large gatherings

Bocce Courts
Three regulation courts with artificial surface near Sportsmen's Park, designed for year-round play and social gatherings

Table Tennis
State-of-the-art facility features regulation tables for competitive and recreation play, workshops and social gatherings
