Pickleball
The game of Pickleball is played on the three Creekside Courts on Rossmoor Parkway and two indoor Courts in Tice Creek Fitness Center.

Pickleball is the fastest growing senior sport in the United States. Rossmoor’s Pickleball Club started in September, 2009 with 79 Members. The club now has more than 400 members.
The sport is played with a paddle and wiffle ball on a court that is 44’ long and 22’ wide. In pickleball, the same court is used for both singles and doubles play. The net height is 36 inches at the sidelines and 34 inches in the middle. The court is striped similar to a tennis court with right and left service courts and a 7-foot non-volley zone in front of the net (referred to as the “kitchen”).
According to the Sports & Fitness Industry Association’s 2015 Participant Report, pickleball participation is 2.46 million.

- Novice: IFP ratings 1.0 to 2.5
- Intermediate: IFP ratings 2.5 to 3.5
- Advanced: IFP ratings 3.5 to 4.0
