Thursday, October 24 (9:00 a.m.): The Recreation Department will host a New Residents Fair on Wednesday, Oct. 30, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Event Center’s Tahoe Room. The fair is geared toward residents who have moved to Rossmoor since November 2022.

“The primary goal of this fair is to provide residents with valuable information and resources that can enhance their daily lives,” Recreation Manager Zee Deleon said. “By bringing together various organizations, service providers and experts, we aim to create a one-stop destination where residents can learn about the wide range of services and opportunities available to them.”

Residents will have an opportunity to learn about health and wellness programs through the Fitness Center and Counseling Services; recreational activities such as excursions, special events or concerts and activities; the roughly 200 clubs and organizations that they can join; and services such as transportation, Comcast, public safety, functions of the Mutual Operations Department such as work orders and alterations; and the Rossmoor News and TV. There also will be a bingo/raffle activity.

“We believe that by facilitating direct interactions between residents and service providers, we can help build stronger connections between residents of the Rossmoor community,” Deleon said. “Their participation and support in this event are crucial to its success, and we look forward to seeing them there.”
