Scheduling
The Rossmoor TV schedule can be found in the Rossmoor News every week. Look for the capitalized and underlined word in each program description and match it to the grid below to find the program’s start time. Most programs start at the top of the hour and air without commercials.
Start each day with a low-aerobic exercise program made especially for seniors, followed by a varied shows of health tips, lectures, music, authors and information about the community. Rossmoor TV also covers the Golden Rain Foundation’s Board meetings, both mid-month and end of the month meetings.
TV Bingo
The first Tuesday of every month at 5 p.m., Rossmoor TV broadcasts a live program called “TV Bingo.” This is an interactive game in which residents can play on their television in their own home. In order to play, residents need to obtain a free bingo card by calling 925-988-7820 or emailing tvoffice@rossmoor.com, providing their full name, address and phone number. The bingo card will be mailed to the resident.
The card is free and can be used every month to play along with the TV. Prizes vary each month, but some examples are gift cards, haircuts, dinners, manicures, jewelry, concert tickets, flowers and much, much more. Residents representing clubs host the game each month, calling numbers and telling about their clubs. It’s a very fun way to spend an evening.
