Tuesday, August 19 (8:30 a.m.): Rossmoor Walnut Creek (RWC) General Manager Jeff Matheson will be the guest speaker at the Rotary Club of Rossmoor’s meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 20 in the Diablo Room at Hillside. Matheson will provide an update on RWC activities.

Matheson came to Rossmoor in 2010 as director of resident services and was promoted to general manager on Jan. 1, 2023. Before coming to Rossmoor, Matheson was the city of Dixon’s director of public works, recreation and community services.

The Rotary Club of Rossmoor holds its business luncheons, including interesting guest speakers, every Wednesday. These luncheons are for members, guests and residents of Rossmoor interested in Rotary and the topics of its guest speakers.

From 11:30 to 11:45 a.m., there is socializing and setup. From noon to 12:30 p.m., a catered lunch by Il Pavone is served. Lunch costs $30, but it is not necessary to buy lunch to attend club meetings.

At 12:30, the business meeting (including guest speaker) begins; speakers have 30 minutes for their presentations. From 1 to 1:25 p.m., the remainder of the business meeting is held. All meetings end promptly at 1:30.
