Advisory: A heat advisory was issued for our area for today until Wednesday night.

Monday, September 30, (11:30 a.m.): Due to high temperatures forecasted for today through Wednesday a heat advisory was issued for our area from today until Wednesday night. A Spare the Air Alert was also issued for today and will probably last through Wednesday. PGE has indicated areas of Contra Costa County may experience Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS). PGE does not share exactly where the shutoffs will occur.

Drink plenty of water
Seek out air conditioning
Limit outside activities to early in the morning or late into the evening
Consider cancelling appointments, activities, and plans that are scheduled during the hottest times
All GRF Facilities are open at this time however, some facilities may close due to high heat or power outages. This is for the safety of residents and staff.
