Private Gardens

Private gardens are prohibited by most Mutuals due to state laws and inadvertent property damage that is often caused by otherwise well-meaning residents. Overgrown or neglected gardens, broken watering systems and invasive plants can all cause expensive and sometimes irreversible damage.

For those Mutuals that do allow private gardens there are very specific requirements. Consult your individual Mutual policy for accurate information.
