Rossmoor Walnut Creek
The Golden Rain Foundation doing business as Rossmoor Walnut Creek (RWC) is a nonprofit corporation formed for the primary purposes of sponsoring the formation of housing associations referred to as Mutual Corporations or Mutuals within Rossmoor and to hold in trust for the Mutuals all the community-owned facilities. In its capacity as trustee, the Foundation is authorized to provide community facilities and services to the residents of the community. The community is represented by the RWC Board of directors. RWC Board is made up of nine directors representing districts throughout Rossmoor.
RWC President Leanne Hamaji - Each director is elected for a three-year term and each term is staggered so that three directors are elected each year.
- Directors must reside in the district in which they are elected, but they represent the interests of all members of the foundation.
The RWC Board meets monthly to establish policies, procedures, and rules for the community, as well as makes decisions on community facilities.
