Golden Rain Foundation

The Golden Rain Foundation (GRF) is a nonprofit corporation formed for the primary purposes of sponsoring the formation of housing associations referred to as Mutual Corporations or Mutuals within Rossmoor and to hold in trust for the Mutuals all the community-owned facilities. In its capacity as trustee, the Foundation is authorized to provide community facilities and services to the residents of the community. The community is represented by the GRF Board of directors. GRF Board is made up of nine directors representing districts throughout Rossmoor.

- Each director is elected for a three-year term and each term is staggered so that three directors are elected each year.

Directors must reside in the district in which they are elected, but they represent the interests of all members of the foundation.

The GRF Board meets monthly to establish policies, procedures, and rules for the community, as well as makes decisions on community facilities. All Board Actions from Jan. 30, 2014 to Dec. 6, 2018 are housed on the Rossmoor.com website. All Board Actions dated after Oct. 25, 2018 are housed on the Simbli agenda website and can be located within each corresponding meeting as the last line item of the agenda.

District A – 754 manors District A includes Golden Rain Road Entries 1 through 15; Oakmont Way on Entry 9 of Oakmont Drive; Oakmont Way addresses on Oakmont Way Entry 9; and Pine Knoll Drive Entries 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 7A and 8.

District B – 751 manors District B includes Golden Rain Road Entries 16 through 29; Pine Knoll Drive Entry 9; and all of Skycrest Drive.
